Ashley van Zeeland

Ashley Van Zeeland, PhD, MBA, serves as Vice President of Corporate and Business Development at Illumina since August 2018, where contributions focus on advancing genetic analysis technologies pivotal for personalized medicine. In addition to current roles as Executive Board Member at Connect and Scientific Advisor for Curebound and Headlamp Software, Inc., Ashley has held advisory positions at Vivid Genomics, Inc., and Luna DNA. Previously, Ashley was Chief Technology Officer at Human Longevity, Inc., leading efforts in genomics and data integration, and co-founded Cypher Genomics, where innovative software solutions enhanced genomic interpretation. Educational credentials include a PhD in Neuroscience from UCLA, an MBA from the University of California, San Diego, and a BA in Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
