Christian George is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in automation systems and design engineering within the biotechnology sector. Currently serving as Manager of Automation Systems and Design Engineering at Illumina since October 2017, Christian leads a multi-functional team of over 10 engineers, providing mentorship and guidance. Previous roles at Illumina include Staff and Senior Engineer, where significant contributions were made in acquiring and delivering custom automated manufacturing systems worth over $1 million and collaborating across various departments to meet project needs. Prior experience at Dexcom involved leading advanced technology development projects and applying innovative engineering solutions.
