Cristina Valle González

Cristina Valle González is a seasoned bioinformatics professional currently serving as a Senior Bioinformatics Support Scientist at Illumina since August 2021, after previously holding the position of Bioinformatics Support Scientist 2. Prior experience includes an internship at the Departamento de Biologia Celular, Facultad de Biología, Universidad de Sevilla, where Cristina conducted research for a BSc thesis on "Computational analysis of Epithelial Packing" and gained skills in imaging software and MATLAB. Additionally, an internship at the DKFZ German Cancer Research Center involved the analysis of whole-exome and whole-genome sequencing data within the Applied Bioinformatics Division. Cristina holds a Master of Science in Bioinformatics from Universidad de Murcia and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences from Universidad de Sevilla.
