David Rice

David Rice is an experienced IT professional currently serving as Associate Director in the Applications and Platform Services department at Illumina since September 2018, focusing on strategic leadership in release and test management. Prior to this, David held various positions at Illumina, including Sr Manager IT and Manager IT, where responsibilities included managing the Learning Management System and enhancing operational capabilities for the organization. David's earlier experience includes leading software engineering teams at Becton Dickinson, where improvement initiatives for the Learning Management System were a priority, and serving as a Sr Software Engineer at Controltec Inc, where successful team organization and process streamlining increased productivity and product quality. David began their career as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps from 1991 to 1995. David holds an education from Coleman College.
