Eugene

Eugene Ma is an experienced security professional currently serving as Senior Manager, Global Security (APJ/GC) at Illumina since September 2022. With a military background as a Division Staff Officer and Officer Commanding in the Singapore Army Reserves since February 2015, Eugene has developed a robust skill set in security management. Prior roles include Regional Security Advisor (APAC) at PINKERTON, Regional Security Manager at Hmlet, and several positions at Gardens by the Bay, culminating as Head of Security. Eugene also served as Manager of the Safety & Security Department at JTC Corporation and held various operational roles in the Singapore Army from August 2008 to February 2014. Eugene holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Civil Engineering from the National University of Singapore, obtained in 2008, and completed GCE A levels and O levels at National Junior College and Anderson Secondary School, respectively.
