Karen Gutekunst

Karen Gutekunst is an accomplished professional in regulatory affairs and diagnostic development, currently serving as VP Regulatory Affairs at Illumina since August 2013, following a successful tenure as VP Diagnostic Development within the same organization. Previous experience includes leadership roles as VP Research and Development at Clarient, and as VP Regulatory Affairs, Development, and Project Management at Roche Molecular Systems. Karen holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics from the Georgia Institute of Technology, earned between 1981 and 1987.
