Li Liu

Li Liu is an accomplished professional in oncology product development with extensive experience at Illumina since November 2014, currently serving as Director of Oncology Product Development. Liu has successfully led cross-functional teams in the development of various assays, including the WGS MRD assay and IVD assays for companion diagnostics. Previous roles at Illumina include Associate Director and Senior Staff Scientist, showcasing strong contributions to the TruSight product line and active involvement in multiple working groups focused on analytical validation and harmonization initiatives. Prior to Illumina, Liu worked at Sequenom Laboratories and the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, contributing to clinical diagnostics development and Alzheimer's disease research. Liu's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Cell Biology from Yale University and a B.S. in Biology from Fudan University.
