Marianne Mitchell

Marianne Mitchell is a senior manager at Illumina, leading the improvement and development of commercial applications training for the EMEA region since April 2012. With extensive experience in various training and technical roles, including Internal Training Lead and Staff Applications Scientist Trainer, Marianne has been instrumental in establishing new procedures for remote learning and creating comprehensive training materials. Prior experience at the University of Birmingham as a Research Development Officer and Medici Fellow involved assisting academics in commercializing their research. Marianne holds a PhD in Adaptive and Neutral Diversity of Brassica sp., an MSc in Conservation and Utilisation of Plant Genetic Resources, and a BA (Hons) in Biosciences from prestigious institutions.
