Mike Matteson

Mike Matteson is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in process development and management within the biomedical and diagnostics sectors. Currently serving as a Staff Process Development Engineer at Illumina since July 2022, Mike contributes to the development and maintenance of clinical diagnostic workflows. Prior roles include Senior Process Engineer at Suneva Medical, where oversight of R&D and manufacturing improvements was key, and Process Engineer II at Azzur Group, where Mike executed a design plan for an automated product filling system. Mike's earlier experience includes roles at Alere Inc., Aalto Scientific, LTD., and Cheba Hut, emphasizing quality control and operational management. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Northern Arizona University, an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management, and a certificate in Sustainable Business Practices from UC San Diego Extended Studies.
