Patrick Merritt

Patrick Merritt is a seasoned professional in the field of biotechnology, currently serving as a Staff Field Service Engineer and Infinium Applications Scientist at Illumina since September 2005, focusing on the installation, repair, and maintenance of various sequencing platforms. Prior experience includes key roles as an Associate Scientist II at Illumina, where Patrick contributed significantly to the development of a leading genotyping array, and as a Senior Scientist at the Midwest Research Institute, managing operations of a bio-terrorism monitoring lab. Additional roles at organizations such as the Genomics Institute of the Novartis Research Foundation and Sequenom provided extensive experience in genotyping and molecular biology techniques.
