Shivani Malepati is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in quality control and process development within the biotechnology industry, primarily at Illumina since 2017. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer in QC Technical Operations, Shivani has progressed through various roles, including Process Development Engineer II and Quality Control Associate II. A notable project involved using Value Stream Mapping to enhance operational efficiency in Product Quality Testing. Shivani's academic background includes a Master’s Degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from The University of Texas at Dallas and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology from the National Institute of Technology Warangal. Previous research experiences include significant projects at the Macromolecular Structure and Engineering Research Lab and Indiana University Bloomington, focusing on molecular cloning and protein characterization.
