Yuka Suzuki

Yuka Suzuki is a highly skilled bioinformatics scientist with extensive experience in clinical genomics and precision medicine at Illumina since October 2019, focusing on algorithm implementation for oncology products and liquid biopsy software applications. Prior to Illumina, Yuka served as a Bioinformatics Scientist at Engine Biosciences, leveraging cloud computing and machine learning to enhance drug discovery and biomarker identification. Yuka's academic foundation includes a PhD in Computational Biology and Cancer Genomics from Duke-NUS Medical School, along with a Master's in Oncology and Cancer Biology from UCL, and a Bachelor's in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from the National University of Singapore. Throughout the academic career, Yuka led significant projects aimed at understanding Asian cancers through novel computational methods.
