About Us

Inspired by old world style lighting found in the Mexican heartland, our founder Kimberly Harper launched illuminares.com in 2001, as an online business dedicated to importing and selling wrought-iron lighting fixtures. In 2010, Kim decided it was time to bring the manufacturing of her designs to the U.S., and opened her first manufacturing facility in Austin, Texas. 

Today, Illuminaries is the leading distributor of wrought-iron chandeliers, pendants, sconces and outdoor lights throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe. All of our wrought iron light fixtures are made to order, providing your home with a custom, one-of-a-kind statement piece that exudes timeless elegance, European-influence, and enduring warmth.
