Andrew Patey

Andrew joined Illuminate in September 2017 and has overall control of the accounting, finance and compliance functions as well as working closely with the portfolio companies to monitor their performance and maximise the investments value. Having trained as a chartered accountant within Deloitte’s Entrepreneurial Business Team he focussed on working with investment funds and high growth businesses across a wide range of industries. After Deloitte he moved to Octopus Investments in the role of Group Finance Manager and working across the whole business and a range of sectors. Andrew has a first class Bachelor’s degree from Oxford Brookes University and a Masters with distinction from the University of Exeter.
