Katherine Fisher Hershey

Katherine Fisher Hershey has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Katherine began their career as a Fashion Design Intern at ELIE SAAB in 2011. Katherine then worked as a Window Treatment Specialist at JCPenney in 2013. In 2014, they started their own company, Katherine Fisher Designs, where they worked as a Fashion Designer until 2017. Katherine then transitioned into the lighting industry, working as a Lighting Specification Consultant at TEAM Lighting from 2017 to 2023. In 2020, they also took on leadership roles at the Illuminating Engineering Society, serving as the Nominating Chair from 2020 to 2021 and later as the Vice President of the IES Raleigh Section. Currently, they are working as a Specification Sales professional at SESCO Lighting, Inc. since February 2023.

Katherine Fisher Hershey earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Fashion Design, Interior Design, and Studio Art from Meredith College between 2007 and 2012. Katherine also completed summer courses in Art History and Fashion Merchandising at the Paris American Academy in 2011.
