Karen Jordan

Director at Illumination Foundation

A graduate of FIDM – L.A. (Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising) with an emphasis on merchandising and marketing, Ms. Jordan brings a creative flair to her passion for giving back and has supported numerous causes. With her early career rooted in the fashion industry in Los Angeles and New York, Ms. Jordan worked as a clothing manufacturer sales representative. In addition to her responsibilities in sales, she worked in multiple aspects of manufacturing including sales management, product development and production. After retiring from the design world to raise a family, Ms. Jordan channeled her career skills into impacting the world of philanthropy and also serving her community. Ms. Jordan has served multiple organizations and causes including fundraising and development for Corazon De Vida, Newport Coast Elementary School, and Sage Hill High School. Ms. Jordan is currently a board member of two Orange County-based nonprofit organizations, CASA of Orange County and Illumination Foundation, and has co-chaired multiple events for both. Her keen marketing and development skills have added fiscal and human value to the vulnerable and marginalized. In addition, she is presently the President for Pelican Ridge Community Association and has served for over 10 years. Ms. Jordan’s is a fearless leader who is a long-standing advocate for the community.
