Billy Hodges

Billy Hodges, CPMR, is a seasoned leader and innovator in the lighting industry with over 30 years of experience, currently serving as Co-Founder and President of the Board for the American Association of Independent Lighting Agents. They founded Digital Filaments to connect independent lighting manufacturers with professionals and serve as VP Specifications & Marketing at Illuminations, Inc. Previously, Billy worked in roles ranging from Junior Lighting Designer to Sales Manager across various companies, including Prudential Lighting Products and KGM Lighting, contributing to significant projects such as the FDR Memorial and Universal CityWalk. Billy also taught "LIGHTING 101" at UCLA Extension, sharing their expertise in lighting design and standards. They hold a BSAE in Architectural Engineering with a focus on Illumination from Penn State University.
