Varunram Chellappa

Varunram Chellappa has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Varunram currently works at Illumine-i as a BIM Lead, responsible for delivery and BIM operations. Prior to this, they freelanced as a blogger for Stupid Blogger. In 2021, they joined Finoaura Systems LTD as a BIM Coordinator, where they worked on the research and development of self-sustainable data centers. From 2019 to 2021, they served as a BIM Manager at NEEM International Technologies and Solutions, handling responsibilities such as 3D modeling and creating Revit templates. Varunram also worked as a Design Engineer at Monad Design and Dynamiq Engineering Research Centre. In 2017, they interned at Rajparis and Chennai Metro Rail Limited, and also held a position as President of Vishwesvaraya Club. Varunram completed an internship at Tamilnadu Public Works Department in 2016.

Varunram Chellappa completed their Master of Technology (MTech) in Structural Engineering from SRM University from the years 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Civil Engineering from Panimalar Engineering College between 2014 and 2018. During the same period, they also completed a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Panimalar Engineering College. Varunram Chellappa attended Sethu Bhaskara Matriculation Higher Secondary School from 2007 to 2014, where they completed their high school education with a focus on Biology, General.

In addition to their formal education, Varunram Chellappa has obtained several certifications. Varunram completed the "Creating a BIM Execution Plan" certification from LinkedIn in February 2022. In January 2022, they also completed the "Introduction to ISO Global BIM Standards" certification from LinkedIn. Prior to that, in July 2020, they obtained the "Revit: Sprinkler Design" and "Sprinkler design" certifications, both from LinkedIn.
