Previous roles include International Advisor for the National Association of Korean Americans, Public Education and Advocacy Coordinator for the American Friends Service Committee, and various fellowships with the Peace Corps and Democracy North Carolina. Daniel holds a Master of Public Policy with a focus on International Development, Human Rights, and Conflict from Duke University, and a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Studies, Global Studies, and Linguistics from the University of Minnesota.
