Andrew Ong

Andrew Ong has extensive work experience in sales and leadership roles in the cybersecurity industry. Andrew is currently a Regional Sales Director at Illumio, a position they have held since December 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Regional Director at Vectra AI from July 2022 to December 2023, and as a Regional Sales Manager at ExtraHop from April 2021 to June 2022.

Before joining ExtraHop, Andrew held various roles at CyberInt, including VP of Sales for the APAC region from September 2019 to April 2021, and Regional Sales Director from July 2018 to September 2019. Andrew also worked as a Senior Regional Manager at Trend Micro from May 2015 to June 2018, and as a Sales Specialist at Hewlett Packard Enterprise in 2015.

Earlier in their career, Andrew served as a Sales Director at Westcon from June 2014 to May 2015 and as a Regional Sales Manager at Radware from January 2011 to June 2014.

Andrew started their career in 2006 at Comstor SG, where they held several roles including Regional Manager, Business Development from December 2009 to June 2010, Business Manager from January 2008 to November 2009, Product Manager from March 2007 to December 2007, and Channel Partner Manager from April 2006 to February 2007.

In 2005, Andrew worked as a Wireless Product Engineer at Compex Systems Pte Ltd.

Andrew Ong attended Nan Hua Secondary School from 1990 to 1993, where they earned their O-Levels. Andrew then attended Singapore Polytechnic from 1994 to 1997, obtaining a Diploma in Electronics Computer Communication. From 1999 to 2003, Andrew studied Electronics, Electrical Engineering at Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
