Jeffrey Schmitz

Jeffrey Schmitz is an experienced technology sales and engineering leader currently serving as the Director of Sales Engineering for the East Coast at Illumio since February 2016, where management of a 6+ person team covering Enterprise accounts across the East and Canada is the primary responsibility, along with previous oversight of the Federal team. Prior to Illumio, significant roles included Technical Solutions Architect at Cisco Systems, where responsibility encompassed a $280 million operations in the New England area, and various engineering positions at Juniper Networks and Certeon. Earlier experience includes serving as VP of Information Technologies at Kenning Financial Services and Consulting Systems Engineer at Cisco Systems, focusing on technical sales support for Fortune 1000 companies. Jeffrey Schmitz holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Brown University, completed between 1989 and 1992.
