Lead Character Artist at Illumix

Cemre Ozkurt has a diverse work history in the field of character art and design. Starting in 1999, they worked as a 3D modeler animator for FDG Film Studio, creating titles and animations for TV stations such as Nickelodeon and MTV. From 2000 to 2001, they served as a character artist at Check Six Studio. Cemre then joined 3dme Studio from 2001 to 2002, where they continued their work as a character artist. Cemre then joined Blur Studio in 2002, where they worked as a character artist and animator, gaining experience in various aspects of production such as modeling, lighting, rendering, and compositing. At Blur Studio, they worked on projects like "Gopher Broke," an Oscar-nominated animated short film. In 2006, Cemre joined Electronic Arts as a senior character artist, working on the popular game franchise "The Sims 3." Cemre handled character modeling, texturing, and building facial and body blend shapes. After four years at Electronic Arts, Cemre moved on to Telltale Games in 2010 as a senior character artist for the "Back to the Future" adventure game series. Cemre was responsible for character artwork, modeling, and texturing, as well as managing outsourced artwork. In 2011, Cemre became the lead character artist at Activision | Blizzard, where they worked on the popular toy/game "Skylanders Giants." Cemre'srole involved modeling high-end characters for different gaming platforms and preparing them for 3D printing. Following this, Cemre worked as the art director at Worm Animation from 2015 to 2017, overseeing the development of the point-and-click adventure game "Beat The Game." In 2017, they joined Cryptic Studios as a senior character artist, contributing to the development of the MMORPG game "Neverwinter" by creating character-related artwork and modeling. Finally, since 2019, Cemre has been employed as the lead character artist at Illumix, where they supervise the character art team for the augmented reality mobile game "Five Nights at Freddy's: Special Delivery." In this role, they provide feedback, mentorship, and guidance to other character artists while executing a compelling vision for the game.

Cemre Ozkurt attended Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts from 1996 to 2000. Cemre pursued a degree in Graphic Design at the university during this period.
