Jeremy Mua-Valaris has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry. Jeremy started their career in 2014 with GREE International Entertainment, Inc. where they worked as an Associate Software Engineer, focusing on refactoring legacy code, working with the QA team for testing, and implementing backend features for new games. Jeremy then progressed to the role of Software Engineer, where they handled live production issues, assisted in bug elimination, and implemented revenue generating features. As a Software Engineer 2, Jeremy worked on top-grossing games such as DragonSoul, War of Nations, and Crime City. Jeremy enhanced game security, developed tools for creating localized strings, and implemented scaling systems to increase player engagement.

In 2017, Jeremy joined WB Games as a Platform/Backend/Unity Engineer. Jeremy worked on multiple projects including DC Legends, an untitled project, and Harry Potter Wizards Unite. Notably, they transformed a single tournament PVP system into a multi-concurrent tournament system, designed systems for an untitled project, and contributed to the development and release of Harry Potter Wizards Unite as a Full Stack Engineer.

Most recently, Jeremy joined Illumix in 2019 as a Senior Server Engineer, where they are currently employed.

Jeremy Mua-Valaris obtained their Associate degree in Math and Science from City College of San Francisco, which they pursued from 2008 to 2011. Following this, they attended San Jose State University from 2011 to 2014 and earned their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
