Lorena Villegas

Lorena Villegas is the Director of Operations at Illumix. Lorena has over fifteen years of experience in recruiting and human resources.

Lorena began their career as an Information Technology Administrative Assistant at Safe Horizon. Lorena then transitioned to Marriott World Trade Center where they worked as the Front Desk, Concierge, and Business Center Manager. After Marriott, they became a Recruiting Coordinator at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. In 2014, they took a position as a Quality Analyst at Apple.

Lorena left Apple in 2016 to join Mozilla as the Human Resources & Recruiting Manager. Lorena then moved to ARGO AI HOLDINGS, LLC as the Recruiting Manager in 2017. In September 2018, they joined Illumix as the Director of Operations.

Lorena Villegas has a Master of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing Communications from Berkeley College, and certifications from Pryor Learning Solutions, Fred Pryor Seminars, CareerTrack, Lucid, and California State University - East Bay.

They work with Marianne Dang - VP, Product, Anthony Mars - Creative Director, Engine, and Adam Merrill - Director, Engineering, Technology. Their manager is Kirin Sinha, CEO.
