Andrea Inglés has a diverse range of work experience in various companies and roles. In 2012, they worked as a Summer Fellow at ICFO. The following year, in 2013, they completed an internship at the Flight Dynamics Department of GMV. In 2014, they had a final year internship in the R&D department of Structures at SABCA, where they worked on a project involving the study of extruded panels for future launchers. Andrea'srole included using software such as SAMCEF and CATIA V5. From 2015 to 2016, they worked at Issoire Aviation as a Design and Test Engineer, undertaking tasks such as project management, test activities for Airbus Helicopters, design work, and VBA programming. In 2019, they joined Andrea Inglés as a Robotics Consultant. Andrea was responsible for providing consultation services in the field of robotics. In 2020, they participated in the Alchemist Accelerator program, specifically in Class XXV. In 2022, they joined ESADE as part of the Eworks Accelerator program. Currently, they are the Co-founder and CEO of Illumo Robotics, a company that specializes in a compact and fast robotic system that optimizes item sorting in e-commerce warehouses, particularly in the food, cosmetics, fashion, and cultural sectors.
Andrea Inglés obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Aerospace Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Andrea attended this institution from 2009 to 2014. Additionally, they pursued a specialization in Aeronautical Structures and Materials as well as Space Specialization as part of their Aeronautical Engineer degree at the Ecole Supérieure des Techniques Aéronautiques et de Construction Automobile from 2013 to 2014. Furthermore, Andrea achieved a certificate in Machine Learning from Stanford University through the Coursera platform in March 2017.

Illumo Robotics develops an autonomous mobile manipulation robot to increase productivity and accuracy in a warehouse. The company's warehouse robots pick more orders in less time, alongside operators. The robots includes RFID scanning and visual inspection to reduce returns.The robots are given the capability to adapt the movement and graspin real-time based on the environment and objects. Also, Illumo's AI-based software works with all the robotic systems and has templates for each task operation.
