Matt McGinnis

Matt McGinnis has extensive experience in product marketing and management in the technology industry. Matt is currently the Vice President of Product, Industry, and Solution Marketing at FIVE9, a leading provider of cloud contact center software. Prior to this role, they founded illumy inc., a company focused on building a communications "super app". Matt has also held senior positions at 8x8 and RingCentral, where they were responsible for product marketing and strategy. Earlier in their career, they worked at Ditech Networks, Rapid5 Networks, Lucent Technologies, and Ascend Communications, where they played key roles in product marketing and management.

Matt McGinnis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, Marketing, Economics, and Physics from the University of Oregon between 1991 and 1995. Matt later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Marketing and Finance from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business from 2007 to 2010.
