Armand Yerjanian has a wealth of experience in the financial and investment fields. Armand began their career in 2016 as a Venture Manager at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where they conducted pro forma analysis and prepared investment memorandums for real estate acquisitions, sourced and evaluated prospective value-add and opportunistic acquisition opportunities, and led 2 investments from start to finish with a total value of $30m. In 2019, they joined PIMCO as an Investment Associate, where they assisted the senior legal team to negotiate complex structured trading agreements worth over $100b in notional value and conducted analysis of portfolios to identify potential risk exposure. Armand then moved to Western International Securities as an Investment Advisory Associate, where they managed a team of 3 analysts responsible for creating and implementing a new KPI tracking system, negotiated and closed $1.2M in licensing agreements and software upsells, and improved accuracy by 25% in all aspects of the advisory services department's finances. In 2022, Armand joined Tevano Systems as a Senior Financial Analyst, where they advised the CEO & Board on their strategic agenda, portfolio composition, business, and operating models to drive value and growth through transaction or restructuring events, and successfully drove $10m in value for shareholders by implementing a new lean business model. Most recently, in 2019, they co-founded illuria security, where they serve as CFO and provides an innovative active defense technology that enables organizations to accelerate time to detection and response towards attacks.
Armand Yerjanian obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Real Estate, and Law from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona between 2013 and 2017. In 2019, they obtained an Anti Money Laundering Training certification from Bilby Compliance & Training LLP. Armand is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in American Government and Politics (United States) at The Johns Hopkins University, which they began in 2020 and is expected to complete in 2023.
