Dylan Dechant

Dylan Dechant has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Their most recent work includes serving as a Senior Director of Engineering at Illustrative Mathematics, where they previously held the role of Director of Engineering. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Engineer at the same company. Before joining Illustrative Mathematics, Dylan worked as a Software Architect at Perkins&Will and as a Web Application Developer at the same company. Dylan also has experience as a Project Manager at Make3 architecture / planning / design, a Designer II at Myhre Group Architects, and a Staff Architect at WDG Architecture. Dylan began their career as an Intern Architect at Dechant Architecture, P.A. Dylan also gained experience as a Model Shop Assistant at Savannah College of Art and Design and as a Draftsman at Dechant Architecture, P.A. Dylan's early career includes the role of Web Developer at UNC Charlotte.

Dylan Dechant began their education in 2004 at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where they studied Graphic Design until 2006. Dylan then went on to pursue their B.F.A degree in Architecture at Savannah College of Art and Design, from 2008 to 2011. Dylan continued their studies at the same institute and obtained an M.Arch degree in Architecture from 2010 to 2011.
