Jules C. Hampton

Jules C. Hampton, MS, MA, currently serves as a Math Teacher and Teacher Leader at Houston ISD since August 2024 and contributes as an Instructional Facilitator at Illustrative Mathematics from May 2023. Previously, Jules held roles including Instructional Coordinator and AP Testing Coordinator at Cristo Rey Network (August 2022 - June 2024) and served as an Alumni Board Member for Teach For America (May 2021 - May 2022). Experience also includes being Dean of School Culture at Achievement First (June 2020 - November 2021), where coaching was provided to both the Math and Fine Arts Departments on instructional best practices. Earlier positions encompassed leading a grade level as a Math Teacher at Uncommon Schools (July 2018 - June 2020) and teaching High School Geometry at School City of Hammond (August 2016 - July 2018). Jules holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Arts in Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Indiana State University.
