Shelby Strong

Shelby Strong currently serves as an Elementary and Secondary Mathematics Consultant at Lesley University's Center for Mathematics Achievement since August 2022. As the Owner and Lead Consultant of Stronger Math since April 2021, Shelby also works as a Certified Facilitator for Illustrative Mathematics. Previous experience includes developing math curriculum resources for the Louisiana Department of Education and working as a coach for The National Math and Science Initiative. Shelby has held various teaching and consulting positions, including a Mathematics Teacher at Morris Jeff Community School and a Curriculum Developer at Amplify. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Teaching Mathematics from Mount Holyoke College, an Alternative Certification in Secondary Education from the University of Holy Cross, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of New Orleans.
