Sergiu Craitoiu

Sergiu Craitoiu has over 10 years of experience in software development. Sergiu is currently working as a Software Consultant at Illuvium.io since September 2021. Prior to that, they were a Co-founder at Alien Pixel Studios from May 2016.

From April 2015 to May 2018, Sergiu worked at Luxoft as a Senior Software Engineer. In this role, they were a C++ developer in the automotive line of business, specifically in the Continental project. Sergiu was responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and writing code in various teams such as Media Business Logic, HMI, and CD driver. Sergiu mainly worked with C++ and QT/QML under the Linux distribution. Some of the tools they used were IBM Change Synergy, IBM Change Management, Bullseye Testing, and Valgrind.

Prior to Luxoft, Sergiu worked at JLG Consulting from June 2011 to January 2015. In this role as a Software Engineer, they worked on a web-based 2D Air Traffic Simulator (ATS) project using TypeScript and WebGL for rendering, and C++, TypeScript, and NodeJS for the server-side. Sergiu also worked as a C# developer using ASP.NET MVC, SQL, and Silverlight for various projects in the company.

Sergiu Craitoiu completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universitatea Politehnica Bucuresti in the period of 2009-2013. Sergiu then pursued a Masters degree in Computer Graphics, Multimedia and Virtual Reality from the same university during 2013-2015.
