Signe Mortensen

Signe Mortensen has extensive experience in education management within the coffee industry, serving as the UdC and Education Manager at illycaffè North America, Inc. since November 2008. In this role, Signe oversees the design, development, coordination, and facilitation of training courses and educational events for trade customers, consumers, and employees, enhancing brand awareness across North America. Prior positions at illycaffè include Education Administrator and Master Barista Series Coordinator. Additionally, Signe is a classical singer with a passion for new music and collaborative projects, and has experience as a Data Quality Associate at Corbis Corporation, where management of a team and oversight of data projects were key responsibilities. Signe holds a Master’s degree in Opera Performance from Binghamton University and a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance from Western Washington University.
