Cristina Bescos

Cristina Bescos, PhD, currently serves as the Director of Innovation and Chief Growth Officer (ad interim) at EIT Health, where efforts focus on transforming the organization into an agile entity that promotes sustainable healthcare development in Europe. With extensive experience in healthcare initiatives, Cristina has held various strategic roles, including Managing Director of EIT Health Spain, European Program Manager at Philips Healthcare, and Project Manager at the European Commission. A former Senior Scientist at Philips Research, Cristina also coordinated telemedicine projects at ESA/ESTEC and contributed to research at the Polytechnic University of Madrid. Cristina's educational background includes a PhD in Biomedical Engineering and advanced management programs from notable institutions such as Esade and the Open University.
