Tom O'Leary

Tom O'Leary is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in the resources and energy sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at Iluka Resources since September 2016, O'Leary previously held the position of Managing Director at Wesfarmers Chemicals, Energy & Fertilisers from April 2010 to August 2016, and at Wesfarmers Energy from 2009 to 2010. O'Leary's career at Wesfarmers spans from 2000 to 2009, where various roles included Executive General Manager Business Development and Senior Manager Business Development. Earlier experience includes positions as Director at Nikko Principal Investments Limited and Nomura International PLC, as well as a Solicitor at Allen & Overy and Robinson Cox. O'Leary holds a Bachelor of Jurisprudence in Law from The University of Western Australia and completed an Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in 2008.
