Jeff Firewalker Schmitt, PhD

Jeff Firewalker Schmitt, PhD has extensive work experience in various scientific and leadership roles. Starting in 1982, they worked as a research scientist at Wake Forest Baptist Health for over a decade. In 1994, they joined Targacept, Inc. as the Director of Molecular Design, where they remained until 2006. From 2005 to 2009, they served as the Director of Research at bent creek institute.
