Freya Michiels is an accomplished researcher with extensive experience in bioscience engineering and sustainability in the agri-food chain. As a PhD researcher at KU Leuven from April 2017 to September 2021, Freya focused on life cycle assessments in agriculture, utilizing advanced Monte Carlo simulations and exploring sustainable practices to minimize food waste.
