Laura Meurant

Laura Meurant has a diverse work experience spanning from 2011 to 2022. Laura started their career as a Trainee at Asociacion de Servicions Financieros Cafetaleros "FINCAFE" in 2011, followed by a Trainee position at Louvain Coopération in 2012. At Louvain Coopération, they organized a research seminar for the Economic and Food Security Program. In 2013, they joined BIA as a Junior Financial Controller, where they were responsible for various financial tasks and achieved standardization of budget and forecast processes. Laura then transitioned to the role of Financial Controller at BIA in 2015, where they prepared consolidated financial figures, conducted internal control audits, and provided training to local teams. In 2018, Laura worked as a Junior Trade and Investment Assistant at the Wallonia Foreign Trade and Investment Agency (AWEX). Laura later joined RTBF as a Business Partner Process & Reporting in 2019. From 2020 until 2022, Laura served as a Finance Manager at Cubigo, a platform for Senior Living communities. Currently, in 2022, they hold the position of Group Finance Manager at Image-Line Software.

Laura Meurant pursued their education at the Université de Namur from 2008 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Economics. Following this, they attended the Université catholique de Louvain from 2010 to 2012, completing a Masters Degree in Economics.
