Anh Nguyen

Senior Hardware Engineer at Image Sensing Systems

Anh Nguyen has a strong background in hardware engineering, with experience in various industries. Starting in 2013, Anh worked at Honeywell as an R&D Electrical Engineer and RF and Hardware Intern, where they designed and supported NPI projects, analyzed vendor specifications, and improved test procedures for Wi-Fi and USB compliance. In 2017, Anh founded their own company, Emstellar, where they served as the CEO. In this role, Anh was responsible for leading the company and its operations. Anh then joined Prevent Biometrics in 2018 as a Senior Hardware Engineer, where they supported the development of head impact monitoring technologies. At OATI, starting in 2019, Anh served as a Senior Hardware Engineer, leading hardware R&D for IoT-based advanced metering infrastructure solutions. Currently, Anh is employed at Image Sensing Systems, Inc. as a Senior Hardware Engineer, responsible for R&D of machine vision and radar sensors. Their role involves designing embedded systems for vehicle detection and implementing hardware architecture to maintain the company's position as an industry leader. Throughout their career, Anh has also gained teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Minnesota, where they taught students how to design printed circuit boards and maintained electronic equipment.

Anh Nguyen received a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Minnesota from 2011 to 2014. In addition to their degree, they obtained a certification in Green Belt Design for Six Sigma from Honeywell in April 2015.
