Yan Kalika

Yan Kalika's work experience includes serving as an Associate Clinical Professor at UCSF Division of Orthodontics since March 2022, and as the Chief Executive Officer of Image Specialty Partners since July 2022. Additionally, Yan was a Global Key Opinion Leader at Straumann Group starting in January 2022. Previously, Yan worked as the Owner/Chief Clinical Officer of Image Orthodontics since February 2002. Yan has also held various advisory and board positions, such as being a Member of the Board of Directors at Rhinogram since April 2018 and a Venture Partner at Revere Partners since May 2021. Yan has also served on the Board of Directors for Mondevices Inc since January 2015 and Breathometer since February 2016. Furthermore, Yan has been a member of the Dean's council and Board of advisors at University of California, San Francisco since November 2015. Lastly, Yan served as a member of the Board of Directors of Jewish Community High School of the Bay (JCHS) starting in June 2021.

Yan Kalika's education history includes a variety of degrees and fields of study. In 1986, they began their academic journey at the Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy of the Republic of Moldova, where they obtained a DPh degree in Pharmacy in 1991. This was followed by their enrollment at the University of California, Berkeley, from 1991 to 1993, where they pursued a BS degree in Chemistry. Yan then attended Harvard University from 1994 to 1998, earning a DMD degree in Dentistry. Lastly, from 1998 to 2001, they pursued an MS, Cert. degree in Orthodontics and Facial Orthopedics at the University of California, San Francisco.
