Somesh Khatkar

Somesh Khatkar has a diverse work experience spanning from 2008 to the present. Somesh co-founded ImageKit.io in 2016, where they focused on optimizing images for web and mobile applications. In 2020, they co-founded WebSonic. Prior to this, they worked at ixigo.com from 2012 to 2016, serving as a DevOps Lead and Senior System Administrator, responsible for cloud infrastructure management and system security. Somesh also worked at LexisNexis as a System Software Engineer, specializing in server monitoring and database management. Additionally, they have experience as a Product Engineer Linux at Drishti Soft Solutions, a freelance Linux Administrator, and as a Linux System Engineer at Marin Software. Somesh has completed various certifications including RHCE and OCP, and has completed a CCNA certification course.

Somesh Khatkar obtained their B.TECH degree in Computer Science and Technology from Kurukshetra University from 2004 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, they also received additional certifications, including the Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2019, and the Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHEL 5) from Red Hat Enterprise in May 2009.
