Matias Valdivieso Tagle has a diverse work experience in financial analysis and control. Matias began their career as the Jefe Control de Gestión at Eco Salmon, where they were responsible for budgeting, monitoring KPIs, and proposing corrective actions. Matias then moved on to SCL EnergÃa Activa, where they worked as an Analista Financiero Senior, consolidating financial information and generating reports for investment funds. After that, they joined Eletrans as the Jefe de Presupuestos y Costos, overseeing budget and cost management for energy transmission projects. Currently, Matias is the Corporate CFO at Imagemaker.
Matias Valdivieso Tagle completed their undergraduate studies in Industrial Civil Engineering from Universidad del Desarrollo from 2011 to 2014. In 2016 and 2017, they pursued a diploma in Continuous Process Improvement from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. In 2019 and 2020, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with highest distinction in Economics and Business from Universidad de Chile. Matias is currently enrolled at EAE Business School, pursuing a Master's in Finance, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
In addition to their formal education, Matias Valdivieso Tagle has obtained several certifications. In 2017, they completed a course called "Business Metrics for Data-Driven Companies" from Coursera. In 2021, they obtained certifications in "Discounted Cash Flow Modeling," "Introduction to Valuation with WACC," and "Startup Valuation Methods" from the same platform. Furthermore, in 2017, they completed the course "Fundamentos de las Finanzas Empresariales" from Coursera.
