Andrea Colen

Andrea Colen has over 10 years of professional experience in the field. Andrea began their career in 2001 as a Systems Analyst at Burns & Wilcox. During this time, they were also a Claims Examiner, responsible for investigating, evaluating and settling claims. In 2010, they moved to Crump Insurance as an ImageRight Analyst, responsible for system administration and coding ImageRight workflows. Andrea then moved to Meadowbrook Insurance Group in 2011 as a Business Analyst. In 2014, they returned to Burns & Wilcox as a Business Analyst III. In 2016, they moved to Conifer Insurance Company as a Senior Business Analyst. Finally, in 2019, they joined ImageSoft as a Senior Solutions Architect and Team Lead. In their role as Team Lead, they provide leadership to ensure their team has the resources, training, technology and time to be effective. Andrea also manages their team by effectively communicating job expectations, conducting regular one on one meetings, appraising job results and rewarding and recognizing best performers.

Andrea Colen obtained a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Oakland University between 2001 and 2005. Andrea also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, General from Oakland University. In October 2021, they obtained a Dare to Lead certification from New Horizons Computer Learning Centers. In March 2022, they obtained a Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) certification from Scrum Alliance.
