Jessye Cook

Jessye Cook has extensive experience in UX and UI design, specializing in contract work. In 2006, they interned as a Design Intern at Trigger Communications. From 2007 to 2014, they worked as a UX/UI Designer at Chaordix, where they were involved in the product ideation process and collaborated with a team to create branded experiences for clients such as HTC, USAID, P&G, and LEGO. From 2016 to 2020, they served as a Senior Designer at Northweather, designing digital solutions for non-profit clients and ensuring design requirements were met across platforms. Jessye also worked at Atom Studio from 2016 to 2021 as a Senior Designer, collaborating with a team and communicating design choices. At IOVIA from 2017 to 2022, Jessye was a Senior UX/UI Designer, creating branded product experiences and social media campaigns for clients including LEGO Foundation, Unilever Foundry, and VELCRO. Currently, they hold the position of Senior UX Designer at ImageX. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated a dedication to learning, exploring new tools, and utilizing Design Thinking methods to achieve results. Jessye has also effectively communicated with clients and stakeholders through various channels such as in-person meetings, email, video, and conference calls.

Jessye Cook attended St. Lawrence College from 2003 to 2006, where they pursued a degree in Graphic Design. During their time at St. Lawrence College, their field of study focused specifically on Graphic Design. Prior to that, in 2003, Jessye briefly attended York University to study Fine Arts with a specialization in New Media.
