Stephen Crisp

Stephen Crisp is an accomplished teaching artist and theater director with extensive experience in musical theater and vocal pedagogy. Currently, Stephen serves as a Teaching Artist at Young Artist of America and as the Theater Director at Norwood School. In addition, Stephen directs various productions at Imagination Stage, Inc., where notable works include "Edges," "Freaky Friday," and "Little Women." As the owner of NerdSinging.com, Stephen aims to provide effective voice coaching based on personal experiences. Stephen's past roles include Choir Director at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Rockville and a company member at Highland Summer Theatre. With degrees in Musical Theatre and Music Vocal Pedagogy from Minnesota State University and Shenandoah Conservatory, respectively, Stephen has developed a well-rounded career in the performing arts.
