Nikida Sexton has extensive experience in education and content development, currently serving as the STEM Content and Alignment Supervisor at Imagine Learning since July 2021, after previously holding the role of Senior Content & Alignment Specialist. Prior to this, Nikida was a Math Specialist and a teacher at IDEA Public Schools from August 2015 to July 2021, managing responsibilities as a 5th Grade Math Teacher and Team Leader. Additional teaching experience includes serving as a 6th Grade Math and Science Teacher at Henry World School from June 2012 to June 2015. Earlier career pursuits involved freelance design work for various clients, outreach coordination for Just Ripe and Southern Alliance for Clean Energy, and program coordination for Keep Knoxville Beautiful. Nikida holds a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Denver, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
