Petra Byrne

Petra Byrne is an experienced medical imaging professional currently serving as a Medical Imaging Technologist at Breast Screen Queensland since January 2022. Petra also holds a position as a Sonographer at Imaging Queensland since March 2017, and previously worked as a Locum Sonographer from April 2014 to January 2017. Prior to that, Petra managed Gladstone Xray and Ultrasound from February 2009 to January 2014. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate degree in Medical Ultrasound from the Queensland University of Technology completed in 2000, and an Associate Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography from the same institution, completed in 1985. Petra's foundational education was completed at Bundaberg State High School from 1980 to 1981.
