Tatenda Furusa is the Co-Founder of ImaliPay, a digital payments company that provides checkout payment and payout options to merchants in Africa.

Prior to founding ImaliPay, Tatenda worked as a Senior Manager at Cellulant, where they provided checkout payment and payout options to regional and global merchants in Africa. Tatenda also served as a Technical Advisor to the Co-CEO at Cellulant, where they worked closely with Co-Founder & Co-CEO Ken Njoroge on new and existing operational and strategic projects across Africa.

Tatenda has a passion for building African companies and has dedicated their career to developing the foundational frame for creating the number 1 African company in fintech & digital payments. Tatenda is an expert in strategic decision-making, development, planning and implementation within key units of the business that drive B2B and B2C payments. Tatenda has also played a pivotal role in the roll-out of key initiatives and special programs centred on expansion, HR & people development, tactical and operational efficiency.

Tatenda Furusa has a Masters Degree in Msc Business and Management from the University of Nottingham, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Chevening Awards, a B.A in International Business (Marketing and Sales Minor) from Bradley University, and A Level's from St John's College. Tatenda Furusa is certified from APMG-International in PRINCE 2 and NASBITE International in CGBP.
