Teja Kolli has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and quality assurance. They started their career in 2016 as a Software Tester and Android Developer at Azyle Inc., where they were responsible for automated and manual testing using various tools such as HP Quality Centre, Selenium, and TestNG.
In 2017, Teja worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Ottawa for the subjects Discrete Structures and Design of Secure Systems. They assisted professors in preparing tutorial material, conducting labs, and evaluating assignments and exams.
The following year, Teja joined Environment and Climate Change Canada as a System Developer. During their time there, they worked on all phases of a project, from eliciting requirements to designing, developing, and testing continuous data production and current diagnostic reports using Python. They also maintained close collaboration with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
In 2018, Teja had two more teaching assistant roles at the University of Ottawa for the courses Introduction to Software Engineering and Introduction to Discrete Structures.
Later in 2018, Teja worked at Jabil as a Design Verification Test Engineer. In this role, they automated manual processes related to optical fiber/Photonics devices using Python. They also developed tools and scripts to facilitate testing procedures and data extraction.
In 2019, Teja joined Alessa, a CaseWare RCM product, as a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer. They were involved in automation testing using Gherkin, Selenium, C#, and SpecFlow. They also had familiarity with Azure DevOps and worked on behavior-driven and data-driven testing.
Teja's next role was at The Home Depot Canada in 2019 as an SR. Functional Configurator. They primarily focused on automation using Selenium, Cucumber, and Java in a behavior-driven testing environment. Additionally, Teja developed scripts in JMeter for load and performance testing and was responsible for change request approvals and processing deployments in the SAP change management team.
From 2020 to 2021, Teja worked as a Mobile QA Automation Engineer at ProntoForms. Their responsibilities included testing iOS, Android, and Windows applications and automating using Appium, XCTest, and MS Test framework. They also developed mock server automation scripts using Python.
In 2021, Teja joined The Canadian Resident Matching Service (CaRMS) as a Lead Software QA Automation Engineer. In this role, they architected and built a Robot Automation Framework from scratch for two large-scale applications. They also integrated an Oracle database into the testing framework using custom-built methods in Python and worked on report generation using Robot Framework for various test runs.
Currently, Teja is employed at iManage as a Software Engineer In Test - Senior Specialist. Their role started in May 2022, and further details about their responsibilities and accomplishments are not provided.
Teja Kolli completed their education in a progressive manner, starting with their 10th grade at D.A.V Centenary Public School from 1999 to 2009. They then pursued their Intermediate degree in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry from Sri Chaitanya junior college, attending from 2009 to 2011.
Moving forward, Teja Kolli enrolled at Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering (Autonomous) from 2011 to 2015 to obtain a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computer Science and Engineering. After completing their undergraduate studies, they continued their academic journey at the University of Ottawa, where they obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from 2017 to 2019.
Alongside their formal education, Teja Kolli has also acquired several certifications. These include being an ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level in 2018 from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. They also obtained the AMCAT Certified Data Processing Specialist and AMCAT Certified Software Engineer - IT Services certifications from Aspiring Minds in 2015. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Robot Framework with Python-Selenium/API automation from Udemy in 2022, DB2 Database and Application Fundamentals from IBM in 2013, and Rational Application Developer for WebSphere Software V6.0, also from IBM, in 2013.
