Kah-Whye Peng

Kah-Whye Peng has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Kah-Whye co-founded Vyriad in 2014 and served as the Chief Technical Officer. Prior to that, they co-founded Imanis Life Sciences, LLC in 2012 and held the position of COO. From 1998 to 2008, they worked at Mayo Clinic in various roles including Consultant, Professor of Oncology, Senior Associate Consultant, Research Associate, and Visiting Scientist. Additionally, they served as a Lecturer at Nanyang Technological University from 1998 to 2001.

Kah-Whye Peng earned a Bachelor of Science (First Class Honors) degree from the National University of Singapore. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Biochemistry at the same institution from 1992 to 1993. Continuing their academic journey, Kah-Whye Peng completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Gene Therapy at the University of Cambridge, studying from 1994 to 1997. They had earlier attended Raffles Girls Secondary School, though no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this stage of education.
