Mattie Baumann

Mattie Baumann is an experienced scientist with a strong background in plant science and sustainable plant health, having obtained degrees from the University of Minnesota in both Plant Science and a minor in Art. Mattie has been with Imanis Life Sciences since August 2019, serving in various capacities including Scientist, Senior Associate Scientist, Research Technologist, and Research Assistant. Prior to that, Mattie contributed to plant virology and plant genetics research as a Research Assistant and Greenhouse Assistant at the University of Minnesota from January 2016 to July 2019. Additionally, Mattie's early career included a role as a Bank Teller at WESTconsin Credit Union from September 2014 to July 2015.
